These materials will help my students overcome the difficulties of ADHD and emotional regulation through movement while they are learning. Body movement increases blood flow to the brain, thereby, allowing the students to focus on learning. The students often struggle with academics which can increase behavior problems. These wobble chairs, balance balls and soft pillows will allow my students to have more success in the classroom and this will increase their feelings of self-worth. The goal is to increase self-esteem and decrease disruptive and avoidance behaviors in the classroom. When they can move and learn at the same time, the concepts are more likely to "stick" with them and be retained.
