Breakout EDU is a platform that brings the challenges of an escape room to the classroom. These challenges promote creativity, innovation, critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration. There is not much in life that doesn't require problem-solving skills so what better way to promote this than an escape the classroom challenge. Timed-challenges grab students' attention and benefit all types of learners. They move students past knowledge and comprehension and into the application, analysis, synthesis, and evaluation of Bloom's taxonomy. Each Breakout EDU kit comes with everything you need to play over 900 escape room games. This includes large and small locking boxes, multilocks, digital locks, reflection cards, a red lens viewer, UV light, invisible ink pen, thumb drive, and hint cards. Additionally, platform access provides students with the ability to create their own games. My students will greatly benefit from these engaging games as they move forward in the quest to achieve academic excellence.
