This year I will have 20 awesome first graders. I teach in a district where many students come to school with a lot of social/emotional issues. I am looking for help to creating an environment that is warm and inviting. A space that students can learn and grow. I want to provide my students with some flexible seating this year so they have some control over their environment and where they will learn best. I am asking for four wobble chairs to be used throughout our classroom. My students would also benefit from two comfy floor seats that can be used for reading, working, or taking a break when needed. Flexible seating will help my students stay focused, on task, and minimize disruptive behaviors throughout the school day. Thank you for helping my students manage their learning. I know they will have an amazing year!
