We have a large compost pile in the back of our school. It would help immensely if our students could be trained in the use of a wheelbarrow/mixer to aid in the mixing of soils for certain tree and shrub species. We walk and harvest acorn, chestnuts and many other native plant seeds. We recycle all of our garden/greenhouse materials and get a ton of landscaping pots donated back to us. This specific mixer would allow us to fill, mix and transport the soil to our working area for transplanting. We currently have hundreds of acorns from our city's oldest oak trees ready for a nice composted soil mixture.
