In our technology-driven culture, we often forget the benefits of games, puzzles, and creative play. Research shows that this type of play boosts brain power and promotes cognitive development.
I want to provide my students with resources that will enhance problem solving, social skills, enhance memory function, encourage higher level strategic thinking, and allow for creativity.
My goal is to provide my students with board games, card games, and puzzles that will encourage social skills and problem solving. LEGO bricks will support engineering skills and critical thinking. Creative games, such as Spirographs and sewing/lacing cards enhance motor skills and creativity.
