Students will be using these stools in my classroom for flexible seating. These stools work wonders for students who need extra "wiggle room" when sitting is required. So many academic demands are put on kindergartners right now. I want to do whatever possible to give them the tools to be successful.
This project would give ALL my students an opportunity to choose a tool that would aid them in showing their most effective effort! When they are able to focus in a safe way, learning can occur. So many students rock back in regular chairs in a dangerous way. These stools offer regular ed students, students with special needs, and students with sensory sensitivity another way to meet their individual learning needs! I can't wait for my students to have this option!!
