I am requesting various learning materials for my students with special needs. My students benefit from having a variety of sensory options to their learning. Each piece of the math curriculum kit plays a specific and unique part to the learning of my students. The math kit will also help my students access the general education curriculum. There are several sensory items, like the stretchy fish tunnel and the sensory balls that would provide sensory input for my students.
The learning materials will provide sensory stimulation, while teaching students basic and important academic skills. My students need a wide variety of activities and support to ensure that they are successful. Various communication devices is needed like, Talk Book 4 and the Kit Button Talk set will provide nonverbal students the opportunities to communicate with peers. The textured letters, busy ball game, and calendar activity board will also provide hands on approach to learning and give them ample opportunities to practice needed skills within the classroom. Lastly, the chairs will provide a students with a more define sitting area during circle time and floor activities.
