My students are typical nine and ten-year-olds who love music, PE, silly jokes, Art, being read to, and arguing about who would win in a show-down between Harry Potter and Percy Jackson. Fourth grade brains love to be stimulated with color, creativity, and movement, and I strive to create an atmosphere with these elements in mind. My fourth grade classroom is a fun, comfortable, and safe place to learn and grow. Our school district is a small, rural district with a big heart. We have an elementary building, and a junior high/high school. The elementary serves about 425 students in grades Pre-K through sixth. In total, our district has around 800 students.
