Our 3-5 graders would be using it the most but our younger grades would also benefit from the spacial reasoning skills playing chimes teaches, in addition to all the wonderful musical abilities that come along with it. I would like to start an after school group that teaches kids to play the chimes in a smaller group setting. Playing in an instrumental group teaches cooperation and teamwork that our students will need in their other classes as well as outside of school. It teaches them that everyone has an important part and if one falls short, the song is incomplete.
