My third graders need Chromebooks. In Colorado, students take on-line testing which includes typing a multi-paragraph essay and reading the questions online. It is difficult to provide them opportunities to practice keyboarding skills without technology as well as how to prepare them for testing. One component in my language arts curriculum involves inquiry-based projects in which research is required. We could sure use 6 Chromebooks for small groups of students to use for as part of their research in order to complete their projects. It would be so helpful to have better computers so that students can explore on their own. Please choose to be a part of their education and future success.
