My first project is a new Charcoal Rectangular Carpet for our classroom. I have a very old, stinky one that a first grade teacher was throwing out. I was excited about having a rug in my classroom as many upper grades do not use them. The rug has been very useful, but there is a certain smell to it! It needs to be replaced.
I think that we need a rug to complete our classroom with a clean, cozy community meeting area. During the winter months we need warm place to gather. I place students who need to see the SmartBoard better, or who tend to lose focus, near the action! We love having a carpet to sit upon. We could use a pencil sharpener too! Ours has stopped working.
