Our classroom is always in need of new and exciting materials to keep the student's engagement! Many of my students stay in my classroom for several years before moving on to Kindergarten, so rotating new materials for lessons is a must. New books, manipulatives, storage ideas, and hands-on crafts make a day of learning exciting for my students.
Our students love to be independent, so having materials on hand that they can feel responsible for is a must! They love being able to go to the shelves and grab a game, or art supplies and not have to ask for help- this is empowering to them. We love to teach in small groups which allows the students to work at their own level and feel confident in their abilities.
