I am hoping to use these flexible seating options in my classroom next year. I have found that kindergarten age students have a hard time sitting in chairs or on the rug for an entire school day. Flexible seating options will provide opportunities for movement and change throughout the day.
My goal is for every student to find a way to be comfortable while they are learning. For some that may be standing, kneeling, sitting on a stability ball, laying on the ground with a clipboard, etc. These flexible seating options will allow students to explore what works best for them!
