I have many students who are reading below grade level and scoring below the thirtieth percentile in math. I use data from ACHIEVE 3,000 to analyze the needs of students in reading. For math, I use data from ALEKS to evaluate the needs of students. Based on individual literacy and math needs, I can provide interventions to help them become more successful. I can track the intervention data on the computer to monitor progress.
This computer will allow me, as a classroom teacher to allow the students to use the interactive board in conjunction with programs like ACHIEVE 3,000 and ALEKS. It can also keep all of the data and interventions organized and it will be shared with administration, teachers, and parents.
