Our lessons have become more and more dependent on technology in order to gain and retain the imagination and desire of my students. With the ability to investigate, capture and record experiments and findings while exploring science first hand, the students are met with a road block of our current technology limiting their creativity or freedom.
With these iPads, my students will be able to break those barriers which have limited them in the past and understand how technology and science go hand-in-hand in our everyday lives.
They will be able to use the devices to get instant feedback from myself on experiments and projects they are working on and have the reliability to do independent/group research on topics they come across during the lesson with the flexibility of these iPads. This has always been a obstacle since we have had no control over until now! With your help, we will be able to make the connections that we have been missing. My kids come into class motivated and eager to learn and often times leave class with a desire to do more or expand due to shortcomings, not of their imagination or will but of the resources available to them.
