The materials I am requesting will allow students many more opportunities to be active than available currently. The soccer goals are for recess. The students love to play soccer, but they have no goals. I believe the goals would make recess more fun for grades 1-5 by giving them a target that is universal. I also choose soccer balls that were international. I believe that I can show tolerance and acceptance by using equipment that represents everyone. Mats would allow me to introduce gymnastics skills and allow students more comfort when conditioning the body. The stopwatches will help students learn to read time, set a pace, analyze individual data, and work towards an individual goal.
