"Do You Like it Here or There?" is a project that will help me meet my students where they are. With an increase in school rigor, more and more children are experiencing anxiety and stress at the kindergarten level. Children are entering school with different needs than ever before. Some children need to stand, some need to lay on the floor, some need to spin or rock. Funding this project will help me acquire unique seating and work areas for my students. Dr. Seuss inspires me to share familiar childhood favorites with my students and inspires the title for this project. Will you be our "Cat in the Hat"??? Thank you for considering my project.
