3-D printers are a MUST for STEAM education, an initiative that prepares students to excel in science, technology, engineering, art, and math. The tools we are looking for are out of our budget. With a 3-D printer, we can make most of our materials to enhance our STEAM experience. For example, while working on individual projects, we will be needing materials to create what we are drawing and inventing! When comparing these prices online to those of creating one using a 3-D printer, the benefits financially are outstanding. Students will learn to design, draw, and color as well as produce three dimensional blueprints for real life applications. A 3-D printer is essential for a successful STEAM program.
