In my classroom I want every child to have a love for learning. It is very important to me to have a strong classroom community. My classroom is very diverse. I embrace the differences in my classroom and encourage students to be the best they can be everyday.
My classroom needs basic organizational tools. We need pocket charts and a stand. An easel for morning meetings would make a huge impact on our class day. Bins for our classroom library would make the room come together nicely.
My students would also love more hands on science, math and reading tools. For my struggling students having more sight word center activities would make a huge impact on their learning.
In science, we are beginning our life cycle unit. The butterfly net I currently have has holes in it and the butterflies always escape. More tools for teaching this unit would make a big difference.
