By having these materials in our classroom, I will be better able to lead students in classroom activities to build their engineering skills about building bridges. The activities from the requested kits will be used to prepare students when the time comes to build popsicle stick bridges for a school district Bridge Building Event. The books will be used as study materials as students design and create their own popsicle stick bridges. The graph paper, rulers, protractors, and plastic bottles will be used as supplies to help us complete our bridge building project. My goal as their teacher is to provide them with an amazing hands-on, research-based learning experience where they also learn about 21st century skills along the way.
