My classroom is filled with a diverse and enthusiastic group of students. Within our school district, our students speak more than 130 different languages, 48% are eligible for free lunch, and 19% are learning the English language. My school is no different. I see many different cultures within my walls. My students not only bring with them unique cultures and experiences, but also a love of learning. Students within my classes - Introduction to Java Programming, Game Production, and Digital Design- have specifically chosen to be there. These are student who love computer science and STEAM or want to broaden their horizons. Everyday I look forward to shaping their knowledge and introducing them to ideas they know nothing about. My joy is seeing them learn and experience new and exciting ideas and then applying them to the real world.
