I am a learning support teacher for students in 4th to 6th grade. My students come to my classroom for help with the curriculum as well as improving their basic math skills. I have anywhere from 5-8 students in my class at one time. There are many educational math websites my students can use to improve their math fluency. I have 5 desktop computers in our class, of which only 2 are working at any given time. I would love to purchase Kindle Fires for the students can access websites at the same time. And so they do not have to wait for their turn to use one of the 2 working computers. They try very hard to work with the limited resources we have have school or what they have at home. I especially want my 6th graders to improve their skills before I have to send them off to middle school. Thank you so much for any support. No amount is too small.
