My students need room dividers to separate the class into private learning centers, they have special needs and they are very easily distracted by one another in a large setting. I have twenty-two special needs students in one classroom. This is far too many students and it is unfair to them. They have a very difficult time focusing when there are so many distractions.
By creating separate areas with room dividers will give my under privileged, special needs students work space where they can have less distractions and focus on learning. The way the classroom is now just lends itself to chaos and negative behaviors.
