Storyworks has great articles that kids love to read; topics vary from current events, historical fiction, debates, dramas, poems, and more. The kids absolutely love them. Let's face it, there is no money for new textbooks, and our children are suffering. Most textbooks are five years old, additional books are lost or used, and resources have disappeared. Storyworks by Scholastic transforms the language arts curriculum with thrilling content across all genres combined with rich lesson plans, activity sheets, and videos, all created for Common Core. The best part of Storyworks is the colors. Very rarely children get to experience a text with lively colors, tables, maps, etc. Color is believed to be the most important visual experience to human beings. It functions as a powerful information channel to the human cognitive system and has been found to play a significant role in enhancing memory performance. Color can be very effective in learning and educational setting, marketing, communication, or even sport.
