Please help my students learn about and how to create their own 3-Dimensional sculptures. Each student will receive a piece of Ivory soap, their own carving tools and skills to make their own unique sculpture. Due to many budget cuts in our school system, it is getting harder and harder to buy anything other than basic art supplies. As strange as it may sound, Ivory makes for a great 3-Dimensional, sculptural medium with an end product that looks more like stone than soap. My students truly look forward to this unit every year! I am looking forward to see their creativity shine as well.
