Chromebooks will be used for the ST Math program. ST stands for Spatial-Temporal Reasoning, which is a higher-order thinking skill that allows the mind to visualize and manipulate objects over space and time. Spatial-Temporal Reasoning is frequently used to solve complex, multi-step problems. The ST Math interactive software program introduces core math concepts visually, using a neuroscience-based approach that activates the brain’s innate reasoning abilities. My students will SEE the math by playing games and manipulating objects on the Chromebooks. I will support their learning with teacher directed lessons. This will build their brain and provide the foundation they need to further their STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) skills for the 21st century!
