My students read for the first 30 minutes of class every day, and while they've gotten a great start this year with the classroom library provided by our school district, they are starting to need more books!
Since September alone, I have seen my students make great strides in literacy. Giving them access, choice, and time to read every day has proven to be effective in not only increasing their reading level, but also in allowing them to see that reading can be fun. They have shown tremendous progress in their work and test scores since we began this school year. Please help me continue the trend with great new books in our classroom!
