This grill will be used in a teaching unit on different cooking methods. Outdoor, or grill cooking is an outstanding method to teach students about safely building a fire, heat control, and proper safe cooking temperatures. Students will also be taught proper cleaning and maintenance of the grill and all its accessories. This grill will allow students to gain the knowledge of starting a charcoal fire and proper methods of cooking with it. Students will undoubtedly be able to take this knowledge with them through the remainder of their lives. The grill could potentially be used as a platform for fund raising.
