I am the special education teacher in a co-taught Kindergarten classroom. We have 21 students made up of a diverse learning population. My co-teacher and I are fans of project-based learning. We also are part of a Blended Learning Initiative in our district, where our school has the benefit of 1:1 chromebook devices for our students. Having a diversity of learner types in our classroom, creates a necessity for a multisensory approach to teaching all lessons in our classroom, to ensure that every student can reach their learning potential.
