My school houses approximately 900 students in kindergarten through 5th grade. In 2007, it was reported that an estimated 81-90% of students are from families that receive public assistance, although it does offer free breakfast and lunch to all students. Student ethnicity are made up of 59% Black, 39% Hispanic, 1% White and 1% Asian children.
