I have more students than I have violins (some problems are good to have!). Many of the violins that we do have have seen better days. We had to borrow instruments to put on our Winter Concert, and we are never able to have a full rehearsal. We are in need of more instruments so that each girl has a working instrument on which to practice. The addition of a quality violin, with upgraded bows and strings, will enable our students who wish to perform at a higher level to achieve. Investment in a musical instrument is not an option for many families, even though they support participation in the arts.
