The use of computers is becoming a daily activity in our society. Without access to this type of technology training, my students are missing out on an important life skill. With computers in the classroom, the students will learn keyboarding skills, learn how to look up important information safely on the internet, and use learning software in reading, math, and all other core areas to enhance their academic skills. Also, my non-verbal and non-writing students would have access to another way of communicating their thoughts and ideas through technology. Oh, the computing we could compute! We can compute up some learning. That's what we could do. We could compute about reading or compute about math. We could compute about history. We could compute about biology. Oh, the computing we could compute! If we only had the technology!!
