My students live on the island of Oahu and they enjoy getting involved in the local that effect their daily lives. Our school is fortunate to have iPads and I would like for them to be able to examine local news reports. In order for my students to do this they will need their own set of headphones. The headphones are an essential in increasing the students media literacy. They will be able to listen to new reporters explaining and describing the issues that directly affect them and their families. Headphones for every student is essential in helping them focus their attention on the news reports.
