These donated items would be of great use to help students in reading and math. Often times, schools do not have budgets to allow students to each have their own book or math manipulative. Having their own book or math manipulative allows students to be invested, engaged and invested in their learning.
Math manipulatives are essential for many kids as they need a way to understand math concepts. These books will help students becuase having a book in hand adds to the positive learning environment. Students can follow along and practice that skill of of tracking.
