I work with some amazing and inspiring students. But these students also have an extra roadblock or two when it comes to learning. Autism, learning disabilities, ADHD, and emotional disabilities are just a few of the disabilities that my students have. Like many of their peers, they love to learn! However, unlike their peers, my students learn differently.
I am requesting various items to help these students achieve academic growth and embrace the love of learning, in their own way. These resources will help my students access the Nevada Academic Content Standards through their different learning modalities. Many of the reading and phonics items such as the Pop Its, Sound Mats and Rhyme Sorting with help those students need visual and hands on assistance when learning. Items such as the dot markers, wooden puzzles and dough will help with those students who need assistance with their fine motor skills while working on academics.
