Throughout the day, the students in our classroom can begin to strain their eyes from the florescent light bulbs that are in the room. These covers help the room stay lit while also ensuring that it isn't too harsh on their eyes.
The blue cover helps put off a calming feel to the room that is more relaxing to the eyes. The covers chosen have magnets sew inside of the materials so they can easily be placed over the light fixtures. These make it easy to take on and off if it is needed to certain projects that we are doing in the classroom.
Each day, our students spend the majority of the day inside our classroom. I want to make sure that they don't strain their eyes, which will then make it easier for them to focus on learning the foudational skills that we are teaching in Kindergarten. We also have several students in our room that have a range of special needs. Making the room have this calming feel is so beneficial for them. It helps them have a more calm mindset, helps with those with sensory needs as well as those who have visual needs.
