I teach 6th grade math and science at Carquinez Middle School in Crockett, CA. I like to celebrate national days in my classroom with my kids, like pi day, oreo day, juice day and toasted marshmellow day. I like to make math and science fun and easy to understand. It is important to me that I get to know my students and they get to know me as a person too. I try to eat lunch with them at least once a week. I use a lot of technology in my classroom as both a teaching tool and a student resource. I believe that it is my job to teach my students academics and how to be successful, but more importantly how to be good, independent, people.
