My students are acquiring English through many hands on, cut and paste projects that require an area for their projects to dry. The drying rack has enough slots for them to place their projects in a space that is organized and easily accessible when it is time to collect their work. Once their work is dry then they are able to share and retell what they have learned while practicing their use of the newly acquired English vocabulary. My students also need scissors for our projects.
The headphones will be used along with their iPads to use district mandated programs to help progress monitor their growth in reading and math by using Istation and Reflex.
