Students in my class come to class thrilled to learn and explore the fundamentals of chemistry. My Chemistry students are very smart, eager, motivated, and outgoing individuals.
However we are a Title I school. In our district all of the breakfasts and lunches served are free because we are in such a low-income area. Most materials used for demonstrations or labs/demos are purchased out of pocket by me since the school does not have a large budget for our classes.
I think Donors Choose will give my students the opportunity to become more involved and excited about science since they will get a chance to do more engaging and fun experiments.
