Multiplication is a critical skill for success in fourth grade and more advanced math courses. Students with difficulty in math often are not motivated to practice basic math skills. Our Kindle Fires will be used in conjunction with the math programs Prodigy, First in Math, and MobyMax. These games are motivating for students, offer instantaneous feedback, and are fun for students. Five Kindles will allow me to work with small groups to push students to mathematical excellence. Frequent practice has a direct impact on retention of information. Fourth grade is a critical year for math.
