In our Early Education program, our curriculum is taught through play-based learning. We believe our young students learn best through hands-on experiences, play, and movement. Our learning does not only take place inside the classroom, but outdoors as well.
Recently, we were informed that the district has deemed our playground equipment unsafe for our 3 and 4 year olds. With little additional materials and equipment for outdoor use, it is difficult to utilize our outdoor time in an effective manner. With the arrival of spring, our little learners are eager to get outside to learn and play! Outdoor equipment like balls, small basketball hoops, hula hoops and jump ropes will encourage lots of active play and learning for our students.
