These supplies will help my students build the parts they need to get practical experience working on 3D printers, and helping them prepare for the industry certification exams. The students learn both the design program and 3D-printing process for creating, parts for their vehicles and robots. The projects that my students work on give them real world experience in the field of engineering. Currently the filaments the students are using are impractical for classroom use due to the unpleasant fumes they give off. The new materials, which would be 1.75mm PLA Filament, are safer, easier, and more environmentally friendly to use. Students will using the filament to be printing gears, arms, chassis, and so much more.
