I teach at New Field Elementary, and it is a magical place!
We are located in Chicago's most racially diverse neighborhood Rogers Park and it shows with the over 40 languages spoken in our school. I teach special education in an inclusive kindergarten classroom. My students are wonderfully inquisitive, energetic, bundles of potential!! Each student brings different skills and different needs to the classroom each day.
Over 70% of our families are low income, so that means our teachers are often dipping into our own pockets to pay for supplies. Your help is appreciated by our students, parents and staff.
