As young students exploring their emotions and feelings it is important to learn how to manage these emotions and feelings. My students need solid curriculum pieces to help them learn how to successfully manage new and old feelings and emotions. We are learning how to be kind, be safe, and be a good friend.
Games, books, cards, posters, puppets, and songs focused around social emotional needs and wants will all support social emotional learning for my students.
Hands-on learning is the best way to absorb all of the new information my students will be learning. It is important that my students have puppets, emotion cards, and books to really explore their emotions.
