These toys will play a very important role in my SDC Structured Preschool Program. The students in my program have difficulties playing with toys appropriately, socializing, and using cooperative play skills with their peers. While these skills come naturally to typically developing preschoolers, my students have difficulty acquiring these skills in the natural environment and benefit from practicing these skills in a structured environment.
With these toys my students will be able to learn to play and make friends with confidence. The Bowling game, Baseball-T and soccer goal will help my students practice turn taking and cooperation. The Kitchen and car set will allow my students to practice pretend play skills. These are all necessary skills that preschool age children must have in order to have positive social interactions with their peers.
My students need your help in order to advance in their play and social skills!
