I teach 10th grade English Language Arts. My students are curious and innovative. They work hard and have a wonderful spirit. Their creativity can be seen all around the school, from pictures painted on the walls and extra curricula trophies displayed. Connecting ELA with real world experiences is important to my students. They live in a rural setting, where there is little opportunity for work upon graduation. They work with their hands and focus on the real world, the world as it is today.
