My students are very active, very energetic 7 and 8 year-olds. Sitting in a chair at a desk all day is ridiculous to expect of them, and is not helpful to their learning and growing.
Being able to choose a seating style that helps them learn best will be invaluable to my students. From a standing desk, to a beanbag, to a comfy spot on the floor, I would love for my students to have options that feel exciting and make our classroom both comfortable and conducive to learning.
I want my classroom to be centered around my students and their needs, and I can't wait for them to try out all the different seating choices. Flexible seating, here we come!
