These materials shall expand our writing program. This program will connect our kindergarten children with all the kiddos in grade one through five using the written word. Our kindergarten will expand their civil responsibilities to include mail sorting and delivery.
Our students personal connection with these older students will allow for more personal relationships within our building and within the community. Help us connect these children without using the screen or any electronic device.
I have watched this program grow within the school to include all classroom having a mailing system. Using this mailing program has increased the ability to write for a purpose and using a message. Receiving these notes and hand written letters is a joy to watch. It makes the sender as happy as it does the receiver.
