Having my students be able to use different colored markers can also help them distinguish different elements of a paragraph or essay. I can even see some flash poetry projects using these.
On a sadder note, our two classroom pencil sharpeners have sharpened their last, and I am tired of seeing trails of pencil shavings all over my floor. It's time for a new sharpener.
