Our head start preschool classroom is a part of a magnet public Spanish Immersion academy. Our students and their families are diverse, vibrant, and multi-lingual. We love to experience and discover different ways of learning through movement, music, technology, and building and exploring our community. Our favorite things include school-wide projects, yoga, reading chapter books, and Dance Parties. Walking into our classroom you will often hear the statement "We're All friends in preschool!" Much of our day is center based where students gain new skills from each other through play and exploration. As friends, you can often find students and teachers alike, on their bellies playing educational board games, writing letters or drawing pictures for senior citizens, acting out fairy tales, or doing science experiments. We challenge our students to be more than ready for kindergarten, whether you are 3,4 or 5.
